Summer Art Camps
with Sharks Soccer Club
This art camp is offered in partnership with Sharks Soccer Club at the Ocean Air Recreation Center. The Art Camp gives students the opportunity to extend to a full day camp from Monday to Friday.
Those who sign up for a full day camp will have a one hr break (12-1pm) for lunch and board games between their soccer practice (9am-12pm) and art (1pm-4pm).
The art class is held in the classroom at the Rec Center
Please note that art camp is a five-day camp

Summer
Linoleum Block Printing Camp
with Omar Montaño
Create illustrations with the old tradition of printmaking. This workshop is designed to teach the process of transferring a drawing onto a soft linoleum block for carving. When inked, the carved block reproduces the drawing. Imagine an ancient copy machine! Students will also get to experiment with the ink colors and change the overall effect of the image they reproduce.
When: June 19-23
Who: Kids ages 6 and above

Time: 1pm-4pm
Workshop fee: $350 (printing blocks, inks, papers and tools for use are included)

Summer Break Camps
Clay & Art
Spring Break Camps are offered independently as half day or combined as full day camp.
Clay Camp is offered from 9am-12pm
Art Camp is offered from 1pm-4pm
Monday through Friday at Art Scōl location.
Just like in our regular art classes camps aren’t based on group projects, instead, we work with each student individually, according to their level and skills.
In clay camp students learn to form clay, use variety of clay tools, apply underglazes. The camp price includes clay firing fee and can be picked up within 2 weeks after the camp.
In art camp students work with all 2D art media: pencil drawing, color pencils, watercolors, oil and dry pastels, pen and ink, watercolor etc...
