Class 1
Just like in our regular art classes camps aren’t based on group projects, instead, we work with each student individually, according to their level and skills.
In clay camp students will learn wheel throwing on a potter's wheel and hand-bulding techniques which will include pinch pots and coiling, attaching clay pieces using slips, as well as decorative carving, stamping, sprig moulds, etc.
In their final class, students will learn how to apply underglazes, finish and prepare their work to be ready for the kiln firing.
Final pieces will be ready for pick up 2 weeks following the last class.
